Space Center Houston

The Space Center Houston is a must-see destination where visitors can learn about the history and science of space exploration in an exciting way. It is the official visitor’s center of the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center which is NASA’s center for human spaceflight activities. There are lots of interesting things to do in the Space Center with all its space artifacts including the Mercury 9 Capsule, Gemini 5 Capsule, Apollo 17 Command Module, Lunar Rover Vehicle Trainer, Skylab Trainer Mock-up, Lunar Module Test Article 8, and Saturn V. Children can enjoy riding on a lunar rover in the Kids Space Place and perform several tasks in an Apollo Command Module. If you want to experience the thrill of being launched into space then you should check out the Blast Off Theater where you will dock at the International Space Station to start off your mission. The Space Center Houston is located at 1601 NASA Parkway, Houston. They are open every Mondays to Fridays from 10am to 5pm and every Saturdays to Sundays from 10am to 6pm. Admission fee is $18.95.
